Activity Five- Stellar Sea Lions

Stellar Sea Lions

This picture shows a group of stellar sea lions off the coast of British Columbia. This picture shows their curious and playful nature. There are five sea lions in this picture all swimming together. The ocean floor and surface of the water are visible and there is sunlight shining down through the water.

I choose this picture because it was taken off the coast of British Columbia. I love the oceans around here and love to scuba dive in them.

Activity Four- Chupacabra

Chupacabra
One description of the Chupacabra (goat sucker) is a large beast with spines running down its back. Its skin is leathery and greenish-grey. The Chupacabra stands on its hind legs and moves in a hopping motion similar to a kangaroo standing three to four feet tall. It has a dog-like face, large fangs, a forked tongue, and red eyes. When it is startled the Chupacabra screeches. A sulfuric stench is left behind.

There is another description of the Chupacabra being a variation of a wild dog. It has a pronounced spinal ridge and is mostly hairless. Also, it has pronounced fangs, claws, and eye sockets.

Both forms are said to kill by means of draining the victim’s blood through one to three small puncture wounds.
